On April 28, a delegation led by Tang Jianwei, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Electromechanical Engineering at Guangdong University of Technology (GDUT), visited Ellington. Both parties jointly unveiled plaques for the "Collaborative Postgraduate Training Base" and the "Off-Campus Internship Base".
During the symposium, Ellington and the university expressed mutual intentions to collaborate on talent recruitment, technical collaboration priorities, and joint applications for government-funded projects. Specific discussions focused on initiatives such as cultivating recent graduates and implementing a "3+1" cooperative education model (three years of academic study + one year of enterprise training). The university representatives highly commended Ellington Electronics' technological expertise and production capabilities, expressing confidence that the industry-academia partnership would yield significant outcomes.
Following the meeting, the delegation toured Ellington Electronics' smart factory, gaining insights into its production processes, manufacturing technologies, and quality control protocols. In recent years, Ellington has consistently strengthened collaborations with universities and research institutions to advance industry-academia-research integration. This partnership is expected to accelerate the commercialization of scientific and technological achievements, providing robust support for the company’s high-quality development.
